I suggest the music be defaulted to off, and then people can make the choice to turn it on, rather than the other way around.
When I took the quiz there was no music for whatever reason, maybe it hadn't been added yet, but then I came back to see if discussions had been started today and the music actually scared me... it came on loud and immediately when I went to www.myfootprint.org If the music had been there originally, and automatically on, I think I would have been less likely to proceed to the quiz immediately. I probably would have been looking for how to turn it off and then gotten distracted or potentially even frustrated and not followed through with my original intention to take the quiz.
