What happened to the "what about other species" section?
The old calculator had a section where you could consider how the global earth share changed if you actually set aside land for other species-- am I missing it, or has this been eliminated?
If it's gone, this is a great oversight! Humans aren't the only ones who deserve a share of the earth.

The new quiz is based on the latest footprint science - footprint 2.0 - which does take into account other species' needs. This was one of the flaws of older footprint science, which assumed that all biologically productive areas on the planet could be appropriated by humans on a sustainable basis. The new methods take out large portions of biological capacity in recognition that we need to set these areas aside to protect biological diversity. But this is probably something we should point out in the FAQ as you noted.

I agree this should be reinstated as soon as possible. Personally I believe half of every biome and ecosystem should be "hands off" for humanity so the millions of other species cana evolve with minimal human interference. We are not the pinnacle of Creation. I'm sending a related separate message on human population.

This quiz does take out large portions of biocapacity for other species. The change has already been made and is part of this quiz.

But, you know I have heard in some other forums, that this global warming is nothing actually but a misnomer... It's there in the environmental cycle...
